10 Quotes From 'The Best Friend'

Here's 10 quotes which I find amusing while surfing the internet. Nope, I'm not here to judge anyone, I'm just sharing out something, we as humans living in this imperfect world, facing the same situation over and over again. :)

1. There's a point in life when you get tired of chasing everyone and trying to fix everything, but it's not giving up; it's realizing that you don't need certain people and their crap.

2. Fair weather friends only want to come around when they need your sun to shine on their dark and gloomy days.

3. In the end, you realize you only have that few true friends, but certainly better than having many fake ones.

4. They only know and feel my presence, that's when they need me.

5. No best friends for me; you'll expect and hope for too much, and you'll sacrifice too much for them as well. I'll just treat everyone as friends, that shall solve all problems then.

6. Oh, my bad for bothering you! I forgot I only existed when you needed something from me. So sorry...

7. False friends are often more dangerous than open enemies.

8. Never allow someone to be your priority while allowing yourself to be their option.

9. There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore, and who always will. So don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

10. Life is an awful, ugly place to have best friends.

Well, of course there are good quotes for friends as well, this to be the ones I liked best!

“I think if I've learned anything about friendship, it's to hang in, stay connected, fight for them, and let them fight for you. Don't walk away, don't be distracted, don't be too busy or tired, don't take them for granted. Friends are part of the glue that holds life and faith together. Powerful stuff.”
― Jon Katz

“How many slams in an old screen door? Depends how loud you shut it. How many slices in a bread? Depends how thin you cut it. How much good inside a day? Depends how good you live 'em. How much love inside a friend? Depends how much you give 'em.”
― Shel Silverstein

“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.”
― Henri J.M. Nouwen, The Road to Daybreak: A Spiritual Journey
