Some Of The Biggest Bullshits Prior GE 13

Hello readers! So, needless to say, Malaysia is soon going to have it's General Elections for the 13th time on 5th May 2013. Lots and lots of news to pick up from, really. And of course, there are many funny and outrageous ones as well. For this post, I am sitting on the fence here, and these are a few of my picks:

1. Big crowds at Pakatan ceramah don't mean huge support

Large turnouts at Pakatan Rakyat ceramah are not an indication that Opposition parties enjoy huge support from the rakyat.

"In fact, I have my officers in the Tourism Ministry who actually tell me that they sometimes attend these ceramah to hear what the Opposition has to say.''

"All I want to say is that we in Barisan are not frightened of these so called mega ceramah as we have serviced our constituents and fulfilled our promises to the rakyat."

Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen @ The Star Online GE13, 2nd May 2013

Review: More flags means more support then I guess? :)

2. Cut off my ears if BN loses in Bentong

“I tell you, DAP cannot win in Bentong. Cannot win! If DAP wins in Bentong, you cut my ears and I’d jump into the Pahang river.”

Pahang Menteri Besar Adnan Yaakob @ MalaysiaKini

Review: Hope he keeps by his promise, because ' BN keeps their promises made towards the citizens' mah!

3. Bantuan Bujang 1Malaysia

Review: Pictures speak a million words!

4. Let MCA stay in government, Chinese voters urged

''MCA is naturally concern [sic] about our success or failure in this election, but we are more concern [sic] for the Chinese community because if we lose, they will also lose their voice in government.''

“MCA has always been entrusted with looking after and defending Chinese rights, thus, we believe that if we are given the mandate, MCA will work harder and produce better results.”

Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai @ MalaysiaKini

Review: Really? I thought we long lost it years ago....

5. Heart breaker for many?

Review: Well, the Malaysian Hero is now being seen indifferently then. However it is, you decide!

6. Bangla oh Bangla!

Review: Oh so Bangla can vote? Hmmm, must be something wrong with our Sejarah (History) syllabus then, because what I learnt was only true Malaysian's can vote. Shit, what have I been learning all these years??!!

7. Goncang Goncang!

The Election Commission (EC) stands by the indelible ink and will use it for polling this Sunday despite allegations in the social media that it can be easily washed off.

“Some of our officers forgot to shake the bottles thoroughly. As a result, there was less silver nitrate in the ink when it was applied on the index finger.”

“The guidelines for using the ink are very clear the bottle must be shaken well and the ink applied properly on the index finger.”
“However, some of our personnel might have been under pressure due to long queues of advance voters, thus leading to some errors. We will make sure there is no such oversight on Sunday.”

EC deputy chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar @ The Star Online

Review: So, it's because of shaking huh? Amazing theory! Anyway, a better story than Harlem Shake! (sarcasm)  :)

8. The PSY Project

Well, I give that all of you might still remember this matter though? A whooping RM3 million for a song! Wow! Bet I could get that cheaper on iTunes.

Review: A total waste of Malaysian tax-payers money, in which they claimed that it wasn't though. Could have sworn Justin Bieber cost less than that!

9. Detain Me, Drag Me To Court

"Detain me, drag me to the court! I will still repeat my statement that (DAP adviser) Lim Kit Siang is a racist and he is indeed a racist"

"I am shocked, I have turned pale (sarcasm)...because DAP chairman Karpal Singh wants to detain me due to my revelation that DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang is a racist.''

"DAP only wants to contest in areas with a Chinese majority because they are only accepted by the Chinese and DAP's action clearly shows that they (DAP) are racist."

Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad @ MSN Malaysia news

Review: Hmm, this guy as I kept on saying, is way out of his time. And calling others a racist is simply and outrageously hypocritical. Oh Dr. M, why oh why?!!! Remember May 13th??

10. Last Minute Hassle?

Han Chiang College was given its long-awaited university college status with a RM1 million grant today. (30th April 2013). Caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak also announced the approval for SMJK (C) Heng Ee to build another branch in Bayan Baru. Han Chiang College had applied for the university college status several years ago.

Meanwhile in Alor Star, Kedah, the BN government has agreed to build Sekolah Menengah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Keat Hwa 3 in the Pokok Sena parliamentary constituency.

"The government agreed to build the school because of the numerous applications from the local community and Barisan Nasional supports what we feel is best for the Chinese community."

"We want to build this school because SMJK Keat Hwa 1 and 2 are located in Kuala Kedah and it is difficult for families here to send their children there."

Review: Hmmm, why at the last minute, and not in the whole 5 years before GE13? And sorry, we don't need Keat Hwa 3, we Keat Hwa-hans are happy with the way it is and we uphold our pride and tradition well.

11. BN supporters molested us at Najib event

Two 19-year-old students of Southern University College have claimed that they were sexually molested by several BN supporters during caretaker Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's function at their university yesterday.

Well, to mii it would seem that the BN supporters are mostly Mat Rempits in my point of view, useless thugs who suck off government money to wipe their dirty asses. What made things worse was this:

Southern College president Thock Kiah Wah has publicly apologised over a raucous BN function which took place on campus grounds last night. Eye-witnesses claim that BN supporters had swarmed the campus and behaved in an unruly manner, revving their motorcycle engines and storming the stage.

He initially refused demands for him to "apologise to society" but later relented.

"Yesterday, I already apologised to (the two students in private). Today I'm apologising to everyone. Today, I am apologising again.

"Over this incident, I'm deeply remorseful. I apologise to everyone and to society. Is this okay?" he said.

Review:

The way this President replied, was greatly unacceptable. His attitude towards this incident strips him off his current position and demands an immediate repent on his wrong doings.

And where is the Prime Minister? Shouldn't he be apologizing as well? The shit-holes that came together with him should be held responsible. Nevertheless, this my dear readers, is politics in Malaysia!

12. Don't Count Your Chicks Before They Hatch

Arrogance and overconfident, many have made remarks which in my opinion are too early to be judged. Of course though they do hold some truth within, still it is wise to keep big words to oneself before blurting them out without any idea of how things might turn into. Here are some very interesting articles:

Review: Would like to see their faces when this is over, if and only if, things don't go their way though.

Overall as mentioned above, this post is of entertainment, knowledge with evidence-based and are of my own opinions only. If you have anymore interesting stories do post them up here. 3 days to GE 13, let's see what happens then shall we? And please, think before you vote....
